Back-to-back CL Player of the Week selections for Spring Arbor's Paul Marandet

For the second time in as many weeks, SAU’s Paul Marandet (Warsaw, IN / Warsaw) has been named the Crossroads League Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Marandet remained red-hot to lead Spring Arbor past Goshen College and Huntington University averaging 29.0 points, 7.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. The sophomore guard from Warsaw, Indiana, also shot 64.5 percent (20-for-31) from the floor and was a perfect 16-of-16 from the charity stripe. Marandet posted a career-high with 34 points in the Cougars’ win at Goshen before adding 24 points and nine assists at home against HU.
On the season, Marandet is averaging a team-best 18.1 points per game, which ranks sixth in the Crossroads League. He also ranks fourth in the league in assists with 110, averaging 6.1 per game.
