The 24-hour management minor provides students a foundational understanding of the theories and principles that are important for anybody serving a supervisory role. Merriam-Webster defines management as the act or art of managing: the conducting or supervising of something (as a business). Coursework in the minor includes both the theoretical underpinnings of managements as well as practical skills that managers need to run organizations effectively.
