Elementary Education
About the Elementary Education Program
Our Elementary Education program is offered with three concentrations through SAU’s School of Education – Elementary Education PK-3, Elementary Education 3-6, or Elementary Education PK-3 and 3-6.
Elementary Education PK-3: Our Elementary Education PK-3 program provides the opportunity to be certified to teach at the PK-3 grade band.
Elementary Education 3-6: Our Elementary Education 3-6 program provides the opportunity to be certified to teach at the 3-6 grade band.
Elementary Education PK-3 and 3-6: Our Elementary Education PK-3 and 3-6 program provides the opportunity to be certified to teach at both the PK-3 and 3-6 grade bands.

Career Opportunities
Elementary certification allows graduates the opportunity to teach all subjects within the grade band(s) they choose to pursue. The available K-12 endorsement for students of Elementary Education is Special Education: Learning Disabilities.
