Recreation Opportunities
Spring Arbor University’s campus provides many recreational opportunities, including tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, a sand volleyball court and an outdoor athletic track. Within a mile, there is also the Falling Water Bike Trail and Gallagher and Harmony Parks.
Outside of the campus, visitors will find that the greater Jackson area provides a wide range of recreational opportunities, including Ella Sharp Park and Museum, Cascades Park, featuring the renowned man-made, illuminated waterfall with musical accompaniment, and an assortment of top-of-the-line golf courses.
Situated under an hour from Ann Arbor and Lansing, and under two hours from Detroit and Grand Rapids, Spring Arbor University’s convenient location allows for reasonable day trips to some of Michigan’s most celebrated hot-spots.
