About Spring Arbor University
- SAU is a private, co-ed Christian Liberal Arts university located in south-central Michigan.
- The university was founded in 1873 by the leaders of the Free Methodist Church as a private academy with elementary and secondary grades.
- Although SAU is affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, it is nondenominational and more than 20 denominations are represented.
