Post-baccalaureate Teacher Certification

The School of Education’s post baccalaureate program is for students who have already earned their bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue an alternative route to initial teacher certification. The length of time to complete the program depends on major/minors chosen and bachelor’s degree attained. All education courses can be taken at times other than during traditional daytime hours. They are offered during a combination of evenings, weekends, or online, or can otherwise be transferred in from approved institutions. Times and delivery methods vary by site. Our staff specializes in working with non-traditional students and is ready to help you get started on your goal.

Teachers who have a certificate may come back to add an endorsement in a major or minor that is offered at their site.
