High school students
You’ve done your homework, you’ve weighed your options and now you’re ready to apply to Spring Arbor University. Ready, set, dig in.
Application
1. You have two choices in applying for admission: you can do this with pen and paper by downloading a paper version of our application, or you can apply entirely online. To fill out an online application, first set up a log-in account on the MySAU portal. This gives you access to our online application and allows you to save your application online and come back to finish it later.
2. After you submit the application, mail the $30 application fee (money order or check). If you apply online, that fee is waived.
3. Now, contact your high school guidance counselor and have them send us your high school transcripts. If you have taken the GED test, please have an official GED score report sent to us at the address below. It’s also time to unveil those ACT or SAT scores. Ask your high school guidance counselor to send them to us and we’ll take care of the rest.
If you need assistance providing your academic transcript, call 800.968.0011 or e-mail admissions@arbor.edu.
Have your transcript or official GED score report and your ACT or SAT scores mailed to:

Financial Aid
After you’ve mailed the application, fill out the FAFSA (stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid). You must have this form completed before you can be eligible for any financial aid. Dig in…
Register
Once you have received an acceptance letter and financial aid package, an admissions representative will help you register for classes. You’ll make a $200 housing deposit (or a $50 commuter deposit) and sign up for one of our registration days on main campus. You will meet with a faculty member who will help you create a class schedule, as well get some important orientation activities done while you are on campus that day. Parents meet with campus personnel about financial aid, paying for college, cross cultural options and student development.
